Smith & Wesson Model 10, double action, 5" barrel, blade front sight, .38 S&W caliber, six round swingout cylinder with hand ejector, small S&W logo at left frame, "Made In USA" at right frame, checkered wood logo grips, small chip at left butt, metal mostly silver/brown tone finish, light scratching, cylinder drag line, action is good, bore is bright with good rifling, serial number matched at three places, SN 643552  *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*   *Note* This firearm has been consigned to us as part of a purchase originally from the Texas Department of Corrections Prison System by our consignor.  The serial number is not listed on the attached paperwork.  However line 311 of the attached paperwork describes a pistol with SN 645552, a SN that does not exist on any firearm that is a part of this consignment.  We believe the SN shown on line 311 was a typo error.  However, this is our speculation only and potential buyers should consider this information carefully  It is possible that S&W records could provide more information.
