Winchester Model 94 Rifle, mfg. c. 1957, lever action, .30-30 caliber, 20" barrel over the tubular magazine, ramp front sight, rear sight, walnut stock, steel butt plate, wood with scratching, Roman numeral "III" stamped at left butt stock together with small initials, "#3" stamped at underside of forestock, metal with scratches, finish loss, and rubs, hammer does not stay cocked after lever is operated, bore semi bright with pitting, SN  2217797 *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER* *PROVENANCE: As per the attached photo of the 'Notice of Award' to our consignor from the State Purchasing and General Services Commission, Austin, Texas on March 20, 1980, requesting payment for successful bids on firearms offered by the Firearms Officer, Texas Department of Corrections, Huntsville Texas, a sealed bid solicitation solicitation opened on March 7, 1980, line 379.
