Winchester Model 94 Rifle, mfg. 1936, lever action, .30-30 caliber, 20" barrel over the tubular magazine, ramp front sight, rear sight, walnut stock, wood and metal with scratching, rubs, finish loss, taped number at right butt stock "No 1  5951", the serial number has been removed from the lower front of the frame and is not engraved into the lower exterior lever housing, action is good, bore semi bright, pitting,  SN 1112735     *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*    *PROVENANCE: As per the attached photo of the 'Notice of Award' to our consignor from the State Purchasing and General Services Commission, Austin, Texas on March 20, 1980, requesting payment for successful bids on firearms offered by the Firearms Officer, Texas Department of Corrections, Huntsville Texas, a sealed bid solicitation solicitation opened on March 7, 1980, line 363.
