French Louis XVI style mahogany commode, after the original design by Jean-Francois Leleu (French, 1729-1807), early 20th c., having marble top over shaped mahogany and matched veneer case, fitted with frieze drawer mounted with bronze dore scrolling grapes and foliage, over two standard drawers, rising on string-inlaid tapering legs ending on gilt metal caps, verso of case stamped FL, one lockplate has been removed to reveal the E.
