Umlauf (Charles Umlauf, American, active in Austin, Texas, 1911-1994), c.1971, bronze: approx 18"h, plinth: approx 2"h, 10.75"w, 8.75"d, 63.5lbs Provenance: The collection of the Plaza Club, Houston, Texas. Per Katie Robinson Edwards, Ph.D., Executive Director and Curator at UMLAUF Sculpture Garden and Museum, "Poet: Ezra Pound” is one of three known castings – the Umlauf family's collection, the former collection of Virginia Steele Scott, and The Plaza Club (lot 1169).
