Vintage hand-painted lacquer carved box on base, Olinala, Guerrero, Mexico, 20th c., heavily ornamented polychrome floral motifs and bird imagery on black ground, rising on separate base, ending on tapered legs, overall: approx 10 1/8"h, 13"w, 7.25"d, 3.5lbs Please note: Mexican folk art pieces are inherently fragile.
