Lot description
WWII German Nazi SS Dagger, the 8.75" blade engraved at one side "Meine Ehre Heisst Treue!" (MY Honor is Loyalty!, (exclamation mark), the opposite side marked "RZM" within a circle over "M7/29" (the maker code of Kitterman & Moog, Solingen but likely made in collaboration by Jacobs & Co., Solingen-Grafarth, distinguished by the plain "M" as opposed to the fancy "M" by Kitterman & Moog), the handle with the Nazi eagle and swastika and the inset "SS" mark below the pommel, dagger overall 13.5"l, housed in the regulation metal scabbard, four screws and hanger ring, blade with scratches consistent with the in and out movement from the scabbard, the handle with small chip behind guard and some dings, overall with scabbard 14.75"l, .90lbs
