Lot description
Winchester Model 1894 rifle, mfg. 1897, lever action, .30WCF (30-30) caliber, 26" octagonal barrel, nine round tubular magazine, blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, the take down lever allows the barrel and magazine to separate from the receiver and is marked "-Pat. June 6, 1893-", marked on two lines at the barrel top flat "-Manufactured by The Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven .Conn. U.S. A.-", caliber marked behind rear sight, upper receiver tang marked on three lines "Model 1894 -Winchester-Pat. Aug. 21,1894", walnut stock, curved butt plate, the wood with light scratches and light dents, the medal is mostly silver tone, scratches, some freckling and surface pitting and abrasions, small dent on left side of magazine, the action is good and smooth, bore is bright with, rifling appears strong, SN 32144 *ANTIQUE*
