Washington, D.C. c. 1937, includes photos of President and Mrs. Roosevelt, Vice President John Nance Garner, notable persons of the day including Fiorello LaGuardia, George M. Cohan, Buddy Rogers, Bernard Baruch, Rudy Vallee, Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, Gen. John J. Pershing, Hoot Gibson, Paul Whiteman, women in government, senators and others, multiple scene photos may be included, for shipping 2.65lbs *Provenance: Photos from his personal collection and most taken by Wesley Byron Howland (New York,1907-1958), a photographer employed by Harris & Ewing News Service and the Washington Times-Herald, Washington D.C. until his 1940 enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps.
