Parker Brothers Side by Side Shotgun, Grade 0 VH, mfg.1916, 20 gauge, 26" barrels, bead front sight, ejectors, silver tone receivers with light engraving, double triggers, slide safety, checkered walnut stock, later Declelerator recoil pad, LOP from front trigger 14.75", markings include at barrels rib "arrow Parker Brothers Makers, Meriden, Conn. Vulcan Steel arrow", forestock marked "Pat. Mar. 26. 1878" and marked at interior with serial number, the water table right flat marked "Parker Bros., Reg, U.S. Pat FF, Pat'd. Jan. 18. Aug 16. 1887, Pat'd Oct. 25. 1910, Pat. Aug. 25. 1905", the left flat marked "VH", the serial number over "V", both receiver sides marked "Parker Bros.", the trigger guard tang marked with the serial number, the pistol grip cap with "Parker Bros Meriden Conn" a inset unmarked silver tone shield at stock underside near butt, the barrel metal is blue with light scratching, receivers retain case hardening colors, action good, bores smooth bright, need cleaning, SN 173728 *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*
