Jones, London, 19th c., having arched top with turned finials, above glazed door revealing gilt and silver-tone metal dial with maker's plaque, Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic second markers, calendar dates, hemispherical painted harbor scene with sailing ship that moves back and forth with pendulum, weight-driven time-and-strike movement, above squared case with gilt and polychrome painted Chinoiserie scenes of figures and animals in architectural setting, retaining adhesive maker's label to interior, accompanied by weights and pendulum, movement in need of adjustment and not currently operational, approx 91.5"h, 20"w, 10"d Provenance: A prominent Terrytown, Austin, Texas estate
