Swiss Black Forest finely carved mahogany longcase clock, late 19th c., topper depicting two bear cubs, above branch-form facade with naturalistic bark and foliates, three bears carved in high relief, each with mouth agape revealing teeth, inset glass eyes and carved fur, glazed door with central gilt metal dial, Arabic hour markers, weight-driven time-strike-and-chime movement marked Heanina mit Garantie D.R.G.M., accompanied by weights and pendulum, retaining adhesive Made in Switzerland label to reverse, pendulum face matches dial and weights but does not fit properly on movement, not currently operational, approx 91"h, 28"w, 15"d Provenance: A prominent Terrytown, Austin, Texas estate
