Contemporary studio art glass vase, Layne Rowe (British, b. 1971), from the "Woven" series, ovoid form with pinched ends, comprised of multicolored canes, the outermost layer of each in various shades of opaque yellow, red, orange, and green, cold cut windows revealing inner layers of contrasting colors, cuts emulating a woven construction, etched signature underfoot, approx 15"h, 7.5"diam, 9.6lbs Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)
