Contemporary studio art glass vase, Layne Rowe (British, b. 1971), from the "Woven" series, circular form with plunging mouth, comprised of multicolored canes, the outermost layer of each in various shades of opaque purple, cold cut windows revealing inner layers of blues, green, and contrasting purples, cuts emulating a woven construction, etched signature and series title underfoot, approx 7 7/8"h, 12.25"diam, 10.5lbs Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)
