William Rodgers Post War knife, marketed as the "Wasp Pattern Commando Knife", the 6" dagger blade marked at the ricasso "William Rodgers, Sheffield, England", the dagger overall 11.5"l, housed in a leather sheath stamped "Made in Sheffield England", Rodgers is credited with producing a Pattern 3 fighting knife during WWII similar to the Fairbanks-Sykes knife, and also produced a fighting dagger during WWII similar to this example but having broad arrow and other military markings, for shipping with sheath 12"l, 2.25"w, .40lb
