(lot of 2) Decorative only modern knives: (1) Bowie knife, 8.5/8" blade with markings of "Joseph Westby & Co, Congo Works, Cutlers, Sheffield" below the spine and embellished on the blade "Home of the Brave, Land of the Free", nickel silver guard, four pin jigged stag handle, housedcey in brass and leather sheath, overall 14"l; (1) Beaver tail trade style knife, 6.75" dagger form blade marked "HB", the wood handle with nail head decoration and stamped markings including CSA "Brig Gen Maxcey (misspelled) Gregg, on the opposite side stamps include "Port Royal Ferry, Jan 1, 1862" (Gregg was a commander of CSA forces in this battle), knife overall 13.75"l, total of both 1.80lbs
