Signal Pistol, Mark IV Pattern, U.S. Coast Guard, marked at the top barrel flat "Van Karner Arms, Port Jarvis. N.Y.", marked at the left barrel flat "2-526" and at the left barrel lug "26", marked at the rear barrel lug with the emblem of the U.S. Coast Guard, the left butt frame screw tab marked "26", mostly brass, the 4" barrel opens with lever at left frame, wood grips with the left grip in tact with crack, lanyard ring, hammer does not remain set, scratches, small dents, for shipping 6" x 8" x 1.5", 1.75lbs (215) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-202)
