British No.1 MK III* Signal Pistol, mfg 1941, markings include at left frame W.W. Greener Ltd,, model and date, broad arrow, "crown over E over JW, a linear 8 point star, right barrel "crown over BV and crown over BP" and 4 over C within a diamond form, right frame with serial number "759", "crown over BV at rear right frame, serial number again at underside of barrel lug, letter A" behind trigger guard, "A" and "1" under left grip, the 6" brass barrel, flared at the muzzle, opens with the steel thumb lever at left, lanyard ring, housed in canvas holster, pistol with scratches dents, action good, for shipping 7.5" x 13" x 2.5", 3.40lbs (37) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
