Lot description
Hungarian Royal Army Signal Gun, c. 1920, profusely engraved, the original markings include "22" at left frame, the right frame with "Atvaz B, Budapest", the added foliate engraving covers practically all of the metal, "Germany" is include on the frame, the backstrap with "1945" and initials "GDL", the hammer and trigger guard are engraved, the presentation is quite pleasing, the 6" flared muzzle barrel is accessed by a pull rod at left causing the spring loaded barrel to open clockwise, wood grips, lanyard loop, mechanics good including action, for shipping 5.5" x 11.5" x 2.5", 1.60lbs (243) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
