Lot description
German LP42 Signal Pistol, marked on the left frame "Wa" (Hugo Schneider AG, Hasag Co. Leipzig), marked at left frame next to breech with eagle over illegible markings, the bore diameter has an added heavy sleeve reducing the diameter from 1" to .75" (the collector states it was suggested that this was done to allow for line throwing), finish is silver tone and has substantial scratches, brown plastic grips with horizontal rooves is also scratched, action is good, for shipping 6"x 9" x 2", 3.05lbs (110) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
