U.S. Model 1894 Mark II Signal Pistol, this is a model variation with the barrel being hinged at the front of the frame and opening with a press button at left frame, marked at the right frame "Navy Yard, N.Y,", the barrel top marked "Mark II", the  serial number "52" at underside of barrel lug and again in frame channel under barrel, the "52" serial number also stamped into the underside of each grip, both sides of the butt frame screw tab under the grips appear to gave partial numbers, steel barrel, brass frame, wood grips, light dents to brass, finish loss on steel, action good, for shipping 5" x 12.5" x 2", 2.20lbs   (287)    *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
