British Signal Pistol, likely Webley & Scott, double action, marked at left frame "No. 3 Mark 1 star", marked at left barrel "1942, No. 3 Mark 1 star", and "1.1/2 within a diamond", "crown over BP, crown over BV", rear of frame next to grip "crown over BV", "crown over BV next to hammer", marked at the underside in front of trigger guard serial number "88495" and repeated at underside right of trigger guard. the 4.25" barrel opens with push down lever at top, 1.5" bore, black checkered plastic grips, lanyard ring, finish scratches and rubs, action good, for shipping 7.5" x 8" x 2.5", 3.05lbs (66) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)
