French Signal Pistol Model 1916, marked at the left frame "G.G.&Cie (Gtherivolat Gerest Fils et Compagnie, St. Etienne), marked at left frame "V over wavy line", the mark repeated at left barrel lug, marked at the left frame under the barrel serial number "621" and repeated at underside of barrel lug, and at the underside of both grips, 5.25" brass part octagonal, part round barrel with 1.3/8" bore, the left side of the barrel mounted with a sliding shell ejector, brass frame, checkered wood grips, lanyard ring, action is good, for shipping 6' x 9.5" x 3", 3.20lbs (13) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2003)
