French Model 1918 Signal Pistol, the left frame marked "Mod 1918 Bte S.G.O.G., Grivolat Gerest, Fils & Cie", and with "A" in geometric form behind barrel release lever, serial number "1978" marked at left lower barrel and repeated at left frame below barrel, the right grip pencil marked "197" at underside, steel 5" barrel, 1.5" bore, brass frame, checkered wood grips, lanyard ring, for shipping 5.5" x 9.5" x 2", 2.60lbs (138) *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas,, 1936-2022)
