German WWII two barrel signal gun, the Leucht Doppelschusssmodel, double action, mfg.1943, this example lacks the walnut under barrels hand grip, markings at the left frame include "eeu within a rectangle (maker, Lieferungsgemeinschaft westthueringische Werkzeug- u. Metallwarenfabriken GmbH, Schmalkalden,Thueringen), "serial number "2779", "43"(mfg. date), and German safe and fire at safety lever, both barrels marked at top "4 in circle over the German eagle", at upper frame next to barrel selector leer "L", "R", and behind barrel selector "Doppel Schuss", the 9" barrels open with the lever at the trigger guard, checkered wood grips, action operates, for shipping 7.5" x 13.5" x 3", 2.90lbs.
