German Leuchtpistole 42 Signal Pistol, markings include at left frame serial number "163648" and "euh" (factory code for C. u. W. Meinel-Scholer, Klingenthal, Sachsen), at lower left "J within a 6 point star", the barrel top marked within a partial circle "1" over "od25", lug at barrel underside "164507", the barrel is opened by a push button at left frame, wood grips, lanyard ring, action good, considerable scratching and rubs, for shipping 6.5" x 9" x 1.5", 2.95lbs (118) *Provenance: Collection of BIlly Wayne Dickey, USN, (Teas, 1936-2022) *Note: The Star of David mark with J may indicate that this flare gun had Israeli ownership post 1948.
