Colt Single Action Army Revolver, mfg. 1874, .45 Colt caliber, 7.5” round barrel with blade front sight, the barrel top marked in slanted lettering “-Colts Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, Ct. U.S.A.- grooved sight at frame top, fluted six round cylinder, left frame with two line patent dates, SN matched at butt, trigger guard front, frame forward of trigger guard, cylinder and on barrel beneath ejector housing, loading gate numbered “578, metal mostly silver, light scratching, bulls eye ejector rod operates correctly, left grip has a later repair, bore is bright, good rifling, some pitting, action is good with four position clicks as hammer is pulled back, SN 12162
