French Napoleon III period figural mantel clock, late 19th c., patinated metal figure of a classical woman seated on a klismos chair, architectural case centering a white enamel dial with Roman numeral hours, inscribed "C. Detouche (Constantin-Louis Detouche, 1810-1889)/ Feur de S.M l'Empereur/ a Paris," time-and-strike movement marked C. Detouche/ Brevete SGDG/ 228-230 Rue Saint-Martin, Paris, further marked Marti et Cie, on a rectangular black slate plinth, some typical chipping to stone, lacking element to one side of dial, operational status unknown, approx 14.5"h, 23"w, 7"d, 37lbs
