Mexican folk art burnished pottery three-light peacock-form candelabrum, attributed to Heron Martinez Mendoza (Puebla, Mexico, 1918-1990), with scrolled tail feathers and handle at the verso, the body painted with scroll and geometric motifs, approx 14.5"h, 10.25"w, 6.25"d, 4.7lbs Provenance: From the personal collection of Ruth Korn Josephs (1927-2023), founder of Pilar Fashions and Folk Art in Corpus Christi, Texas, representing her 50 year love affair with art.
