Folk art burnished pottery candle holder, unsigned, attributed to Heron Martinez Mendoza (Acatlan de Osorio, Puebla, Mexico, 1918-1990), recumbent animal surmounted by a deer, approx 9.5"h, 14.75"l, 8"w, 3.25lbs Provenance: From the personal collection of Ruth Korn Josephs (1927-2023), founder of Pilar Fashions and Folk Art in Corpus Christi, Texas, representing her 50 year love affair with art.
