Colt Model 1877 Lightning .38 caliber Double Action revolver, mfg. 1891, 4.5" barrel, two line address at top "Colt's PT F.A. Mfg Co., Hartford, Ct. U.S.A." blade front sight, caliber marked at barrel underside near frame, operating shell ejector, sighting groove at frame top, six round fluted cylinder, three line patent dates at left frame next to Rampant Colt logo, Colt black rubber logo grips, the right grip inscribed at the interior "God Protect Me" in amateurish lettering , the metal finish is dark brown or black with some smoothed pitting, grips are smooth, bore is silver tone with old pitting, worn rifling, action is good, serial number matched at lower frame, front trigger guard (hard to read), and last two digits at back side of cylinder, SN 85086 ANTIQUE Start Price: $300.00
