(lot of 3) Stampless covers, including: (1) date line New Hartford (Ct.), July 10, 1792 from Uriel Holmes (1764-1827, attorney, served in U.S. Congress 1817-1818) to Jared Lane, New Milford, Ct. (1745-1818, attorney), remnants of red seal; (1) Boston, December 27, 1799 from Ebenezer Boyd regarding supplying anchors to Mr. Nathaniel Cushing (1762-1827), Pembroke (Mass.), both men supplied anchors to the U.S. Navy including for the frigate U.S.S. United States (launched 1797, seized in 1861 by the C.S.A., salvage in 1865) and likely the U.S.S. Constitution, cover has black circular stamp with 27 over DE; (1) British, November 24, 1702 from George and John Langhorn to John Alward, Merchant, London, red seal with shield intact, a business receipt Start Price: $100.00
