(lot) Large collection of circulars, proclamations, and documents in Spanish, Mexico, mostly from the State of Nuevo Leon that is adjacent to a portion of the Texas southern border, mostly from the period of the 1820s to early 1850s, printed on heavy cream color paper, many by local governors and are signed, very little reference to Texas and its 1836 War of Independence from Mexico, Santa Anna is mentioned frequently and at least one mention of General Jose de Urrea whose troops executed more than 400 surrendered Texas soldiers at Gonzales, Texas on March 27, 1836, many pieces approx 14" x 9.5", 1.5lbs total Start Price: $80.00
