French globe de mariee/ bride's globe, late 19th c., glass cloche/ dome on ebonized base, enclosing gilt-metal frame with songbird and foliate motifs, among small beveled mirror plates, centering paper card inscribed "Joseph Meoreau, 45e d'Artilliere, Orleans," over tufted cushion and braided lock of blonde hair, approx 20.5"h, 12.5"w, 8.5"d, 7.75lbs
