Scarce Contemporary "Mah Jong" bed, Missoni Home for Roche Bobois, original design by Hans Hopfner in 1999, manufacturers tag dated Febbraio (February) 2020, a special order, staggered headboard upholstered in varied button-tufted fabrics including ribbed pattern, the cushion on the left with heathered rainbow stripes, and abstract jewel-inspired geometrics with hand embroidered accents, side rails and footboard in a fuchsia channel-tufted upholstered, rising on short cylindrical feet, accompanied by (two) adjustable steel bed rails and (two) mattress platforms, exterior: approx 40"h, 99"l, 99"w, interior: approx 82"l, 77.5"w Provenance: Treasures from the vaults of a Dallas designer
