Austrian Viennese enamel and gilt-metal music box, early 20th c., in the form of a windmill, depicting amorous couples and scenes of courtship in pastoral landscapes, domed lid revealing shallow fabric-lined storage compartment, on hexagonal base, dual-mechanism winding, small areas of enamel chipping and stable hairlines, (one) escutcheon present but detached, no key for blade rotation present, internal spring broken/ not currently operational, approx 8.25"h, 7.25"w, 6.25"d, 3.5lbs Provenance: From a Houston collector and reseller
