Unframed acrylic on canvas painting, "The Small Prince," signed lower right Piskarev (Vladimir Piskarev, Russian, b.1962), dated 2009, titled and inscribed in Russian and English verso, retains additional label reading "Russian political dissident, National Gallery, Kremlin, Vladimir Piskarev imprisoned for 6 years" verso, approx 39"h, 31.25"w, 3.75lbs Note: the artist, imprisoned in Russia for six years due to religious beliefs, was released in April 2026
