French Napoleon III period slate and green marble mantel clock, 19th c., architectural case with drumhead top, encasing gilt-metal dial with open escapement, porcelain chapter ring with Arabic hour markers, dial marked Duplanil, time-and-strike movement marked Japy Freres, over fluted columnar posts and beveled pendulum viewing window, rising on platform base, accompanied by pendulum and key, not currently operational, appears wound-tight, small chip to slate at front right corner of base, repair to back door hinges, approx 19 3/8"h, 14.75"w, 6"d, 43.5lbs
