Large Southeast Asian cast metal sculpture or ceremonial temple bird, Thailand, modeled as a standing hamsa/ hongsa phoenix or bird, in a gilt-painted finish, the mouth hung with a bell depicting a Hindu deity, possibly Phra Rahu, affixed to wood plinth, lacking element issuing from the back, sculpture: approx 20.5"h, 9.5"w, 14.75"d, overall: approx 25.5"h, 17lbs Provenance: Fred Nevill Antiques, one of Houston Texas' foremost antiques stores
