Large Vietnamese gilt-metal censer/ incense burner on stand, having zoomorphic finial on pierced cover comprised of bamboo stems, tapering squared basin flanked by stylized dragon handles, on branch-form supports, further rising on conforming pierced stand, finial likely with loss to tail, overall: approx 26.5"h, 17"w, 11"d, 38lbs Note: a similar example is housed at the Musee Cernuschi (Cernuschi Museum of Asian Arts), Paris, accession number MC 2019-85B Provenance: the curated collection of a long-time Austin, Texas designer
