(lot of 45) Antique French library shelf books, various ancient Greek and Roman history subjects, including many works on Plutarch and Cicero, all with gilt-embossed brown leather binding, most with marbleized covers and "Chateau Chillon Bibliotheque" ex libris label at front end paper, various publishers and dates, largest: approx 8.5"h, 5.5"w, 1.25"d, 37lbs total PLEASE NOTE: All of the antique library shelf books in this auction are inherently fragile. Most are likely to have patination, foxing, losses to the text block, and wear to the binding commensurate with age and use. Please assume that they are not in perfect condition and bid accordingly.
