Italian Baroque style highly carved walnut throne armchair, late 19th c., in the manner of Andrea Brustolon (Italian, 1662-1732), high back and seat in a padded floral jacquard upholstery with hammered nail-head and tasseled applique trim, the arms modeled as a winding tree branches with reclined satyrs playing instruments, terminating atop the shoulders of Moorish figural supports, figures standing atop a curved stump, approx 51.75"h, 36.5"w, 29"d, seat height: approx 18.5"h Provenance: Treasures from the vaults of a Dallas designer
