(lot of 11) Antique Continental textile fragments, 19th c., including: (9) painted wallpaper pieces, mounted on canvas, salvaged border fragments taken from a larger work, with various fruit, foliates, and floral motifs, largest panel: approx 34"l, 12"w; (2) silk and velvet curtain valances, (one) with couched floral embroidery and metallic thread trim, approx 70"l, 23.5"w; (one) with couched metallic thread embroidery and raised foliate scrollwork, tassel trim, overall tears and losses, continued degradation, approx 51"l, 19"w; 8.5lbs total Provenance: Treasures from the vaults of a Dallas designer PLEASE NOTE: All of the textiles in this auction would likely benefit from a professional cleaning.
