Liturgical chalice, in the style of the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II), Swift and Fisher Company, mid 20th c., hand-hammered textural body with smooth rim and standard, centering raised cross motif, maker's mark and inscription "Pray for John J. Hughes" underfoot, approx 7"h, 5"diam, 495.7 grams Provenance: from the extensive collection of a long-time contributor of relics, Catholic church goods, and liturgical antiques
