English brass-bound mahogany writing slope, late 19th c., the rectangular lid centering an engraved cartouche, ?TC Gzod?, dated 1880, brass-mounted corners and straps, fitted interior with pencil storage, lidded cubbies, ink receptacles and stamp trough, worn velvet writing surface, over open storage, one side lacking pull-tab, lacking one inner hinge plate, the top with deep surface wear/abrasions overall, approx 6"h, 18"w, 9.75"d, 4.5lbs
