Savage Model 1899 Carbine, lever action, mfg. 1913, 303 caliber, 20" round barrel, raised front white dot sight, barrel top with address, patents and last patent date June 1, 1909, knurled takedown latch at forearm underside, adjustable rear sight with 1911 pat. date, the caliber noted at left near breech, 5 round internal rotary magazine, serial number in front of trigger guard together with "H" inspection mark in circle, the hardwood stock stamped "138" at left rear butt (factory assembly or inspector number), metal butt plate, wood is in good condition with light scratching with a small gouge at the forearm, metal with slight scratches, action is good, bore is bright with strong rifling, strong, SN 142473 *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*
