Empire style patinated and gilt-bronze mantel clock, surmounted by a Roman soldier seated on a rock beside helmet and shield, possibly Horatius, laurel wreath frame centering gilt dial, with Roman numeral hour markers and worn retailer's mark, time-and-strike movement marked Paris, with silk suspension, on stepped rectangular plinth, accompanied by pendulum, observed operating, starts and stops, approx 24"h, 17"w, 7"d, 37lbs
