(lot of 3) French Louis XVI style bronze dore and Carrara marble mantel set, 19th c., each rising on shaped platform and turned-form feet, including: (1) mantel clock, surmounted by a scholarly cherub using a compass, white dial with Arabic hour markers, time-and-strike movement, thirteen jewels, movement marked E. Courtin, with retailer's mark J.E. Caldwell and Company, Philadelphia, accompanied by key, not currently operational, appears wound tight, approx 13"h, 12"w, 5"d; (pair) matching two-light candelabra garnitures, each modeled as a putti holding two cornucopias aloft, approx 11"h, 8"w, 4.5"d; 40lbs total
