(lot) Large American silverplate meat platter with dome, assembled, comprising: (1) lobed dome with scrolling foliate handle, chased armorial shield crest, over banner with Latin inscription "Troes Fuimus (We were Trojans)," the reverse side with single monogram "S," marked between handles, approx 13"h, 27.5"w, 18.5"d; (1) tray, Simpson, Hall, Miller, and Company, with cast rocaille scrollwork, maker's mark underfoot, approx 27.75"l, 18.75"w; 16.5lbs total
