English Victorian papier-mache inkstand, Jennens and Bettridge, London, 19th c., the shaped tray with black lacquered ground, painted with gilt flourishes and polychrome flowers, fitted with two glass inkwells, central lidded compartment and open pencil storage, makers mark to underside, retaining retailer's label for W. Hick's Porcelain and Glass Establishment, approx 2.5"h, 15"w, 11"d, 2.25lbs
